It was an honor to be part of the team at Studio Misfits, creating the new website for the 100th year of the Laguna Art Museum. I was involved in many aspects on this massive project, from creating the initial mood-boards that informed the new look and feel, to illustrations, page layouts, and I also created the new LAM mark that is used throughout their new branding.
When my My friend Dave said he needed a new look and logo to reflect how his contracting business was focusing on custom homes, I knew exactly what direction he should take. I feel the logo I created for him now looks as luxurious and sophisticated as homes he builds.
Union Market is a hip, boutique mall with locations in Orange County and Arizona. Working with Warren Ellison, who created their logo, I created many posters, large banners, and a series of ads that are running in Local Magazine.
Inspired by the old Bullocks Wilshire building in Los Angeles, I created a logo and branding package for Wilshire Salons that both payed homage to the art deco era, yet was contemporary enough to work in both the print and digital world.
During my time at Daniel Fine art, I was tasked to designed and fabricated a "Bento" style box to showcase the art we could provide for the soon to be built Nobu luxury suites in Malibu California. In addition to the box itself, I created, and hand bound, two books with the works of fine artists the agency has relationships with. The client thought the presentaion was so great, he asked to have more created to have in the suites!
When asked if I would like to create a series of skate board art, inspired by mixing Japanese elements from the past and present, for Aluminati Skate boards, I said.... HELL YEAH!! And so the FUTURE SHOCK series was created! if you look closely there is a story being told here. The Geisha girl, who is now on Tinder, is checking out the Ninja that is wielding his selfie stick. While the wise sage keeps an eye on all of them thru his VR goggles!
I love logos, they have the ability to communicate so much, so quickly. A great logo is the first step in a successful branding campaign, and needs to work on various applications. I start with a pencil, but the goal is always to create a mark that represents the organizations values and connects with its core audience.
Factors is a modern Pre-Fab home company. Working with them I was able to create a visual identity that reflects the core aspects of what they do. The interlocking mark represents their innovative modular home building technology. The style guild I created for them will help them continue to have a cohesive visual identity that reflects their forward thinking to modern home buyers.
Package design is so much fun. I don't know about you, but I have totally bought things just because the packaging was so cool. Package design is such a great opportunity to express what's great about a product, it's really an extension of the product itself.
Power Crunch bars have tons of protein packed in a delicious cookie wafer. Helping them update their website gave us the opportunity to communicate that even though the bars have a superior protein, it's the taste that sets them apart from other protein bars out there. As part of the Studio Misfits team, I shot the product, and created the flavor notes that animate in, as well as designing many page layouts.

North Menswear in Laguna Beach is my favorite place to shop for clothes. So when the owner Pete Surprenant reached out and asked if I would like to create some graphics for the shop I was more than excited. working with Pete was awesome, and I was really happy with how the project turned out.
One of my favorite projects at Delivery Agent was working with the FX network to create their Fearless Female campaign. I created a series of pop art inspired illustrations of the many strong female characters on the FX network. I then took those illustrations and created a whole line of apparel and accessories that were sold exclusively on the FX website.
Evans is Orange County's oldest craft brewary and I was more than happy to create some custom art for their newest brew.
Asterisk is an innovative new company that has developed a new LED lighting system for photographers. The new tech creates fantastic bright lighting, while creating no heat, oh, and did I mention the light is shaped like an asterisk? As a photographer myself I was very excited to get to work on this project. I drew out every possible novel version of an asterisk I could think of. What you see here is the final result. In this instance, the logo truly represents the product!
Who doesn't love coffee? If you do love coffee, you know Portola is the best. Getting to work with them was so cool, I got to design all kinds of awesome custom signage, as well as marketing collateral, posters and presentations.
Bruce Lee was ahead of his time, in so many ways, wisdom beyond his years. Now he is looked at as a deity of sorts, and I guess that was part of my inspiration with this series of graphics and product I created for the Bruce Lee estate.
Hands down my favorite guitar player of all time, I jumped at the chance to work on anything Jimi Hendrix related. At the time we were in talks with the Franklin Mint, the idea was to create a high-end mens accessory set including a Jimi Hendrix belt buckle, cufflinks, tie clip and lepeI pin in a custom case. As well as a Tee shirt with the name of Jimi's recording studio, Electric lady Studios, what's cooler than that!
As a huge fan of the T.V. show Parks and Recreation, I wanted to create product that was designed for other fans like me, I still wear my Duke Silver tee to bed every night.

Star Trek is such a part of our culture, and a show I fondly remember watching with my father. It was a privilege to design and create product for Star Trek. 21 west is a real estate company in Arizona that wanted a hip, yet sophisticated image to present to their clients. I created that for them as well as a series of barricade graphics for their locations that were still under construction, but needed to communicate that fresh, hip new retailers would soon be moving in.
